Jim, a native of Calgary and an accomplished Charolais breeder, began working for Quantum Genetics in 2002.  As VP of Business Development, Jim’s duties are to both market Quantum’s DNA assisted management strategy and to insure proper implementation of Quantum’s management protocol (QMP) to feedlots across Western Canada. 
Jim has managed commercial livestock operations since 1966 and has served terms as the president of the Southern Alberta Holstein Club, President of the Alberta Salers Association, Chariman of the Calgary Stampede Beef committee and Chairman of the Southern Alberta Charolais Club.  He has raised numerous Grand Champion and Supreme Champion Bulls as well as being named the Premier Breeder at the Edmonton Farm fair and the Calgary Stampede from (1994-2000).
